One week down...

Five more to go. Can't believe we've been here for a week. We are slowly but surely making contacts on campus. Sharing Soularium and the gospel as much as possible and praying for the Lord to some amazing things. We've seen a few Argentines trust Christ! PTL!

I finally had mate today with some Argentines! Mate is an Argentine tea that is shared among friends and is very important to their culture. It's muy delicioso (with sugar). The fun thing about mate is that you all drink out of the same straw. Good thing I'm not much of a germiphob, especially with all the sharing and beso(ing). :)

Campus today was a little slow, probably because it was raining and some students travel so long (1-2 hours) to get to campus everyday. We talked to a girl named Flor who was very interested in spiritual things and on a scale of 0-10 her desire to know God was a 5. We're praying that she will be able to hang out with us sometime later this week.

Yesterday, I met a girl named Luz (Lucy?). She was SUPER cute and so friendly! I just wanted to hang out with her all day. Got to share the gospel with her, and she says shes a Christian, but we're not 100% sure. Hopefully, she'll be able to meet with us again this week.

Tomorrow is a holiday so everything will be closed. And by everything, I pretty much mean EVERYTHING! It's Argentina's independence day! We won't be going to campus but hopefully we'll be able to serve the national campus crusade staff in their office or help paint the director's new apartment.

Chau,
