This weekend is our student Leadership Retreat for our leaders/new leaders at CofC and CSU. We look forward to this time every year to help equip our students to be better leaders and to dream big and pray hard for the upcoming year.
We have been so blessed with incredible student leaders. The movement at CofC is very young (most of our leaders are just sophomores) but they have shown so much growth the past few months. One leader who lives off campus has decided to live back in a residence halls to have a much greater impact on freshmen men. Two freshmen have started a prayer meeting in their residence hall this semester. Students are wanting to become RA's (resident assistants) in freshman halls or live in freshman halls (which is unheard of...most want to get off campus as soon as they can!)
It's so awesome to be a part of what God is doing in Charleston. Pray for us this weekend has we depend on the Lord to plan for next year and learn to be better leaders.
That's SO awesome Shannon! God is doing such AMAZING things on campus through YOU! I will continue to pray for this awesome movement!!!!!
