I am incredibly blessed! I knew Campus Crusade for Christ was a big organization, but it really has only become real since being here in Florida for New Staff Training. We got to tour the International Headquarters last week and it was incredible. Over 950 work there all for the bringing the gospel to the world. I also learned that there are over 27,000 staff members with CCC. Crazy! What started as a small ministry at UCLA now touches the lives of millions of people all over the world.
I am still amazed that God has called me to be a missionary. I never would have chosen this profession for myself, but now I wouldn't have it any other way. I would rather invest my time and talents into furthering the Kingdom full-time than any other thing. To be honest, I don't think teaching would have given me this much joy.
One of the coolest things I've ever seen in my life, that I could stare at for hours on end is this website This ministry of Campus Crusade is called Global Media Outreach. They seek to spread the gospel to the millions of people surfing the net every day. You can see in real time people entering websites that share the gospel and people are indicating decisions to follow Christ. Thousands of people every day are hearing and responding to the gospel through the internet. Who knew? You should totally check this out!
I only have a few more days left in Winter Park, and I'm so ready to get back to Charleston and Sumter to begin telling people of the amazing call God has for me. Pray for me as I try to find the people who God has already positioned to join my ministry team financially and prayerfully.
