Leaving A Legacy

Today would have been Dr. Bill Bright's 89th birthday. I'm not sure if you are familiar with Dr. Bright, or his lovely wife Vonette, but they started Campus Crusade for Christ in 1951 at UCLA. Dr. Bright passed away in 2003 leaving behind a wonderful legacy of taking the gospel to the the ends of the earth. Absolutely incredible man of God. Here is another sweet video of Vonette Bright. I've had the privilege of meeting her (twice) once in 2007 when I went to Busan, South Korea and then again this summer when I joined staff with Campus Crusade.

The Lord really has blessed the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ through this man and his wife's willingness to surrender everything to serve the Lord. I am blessed to be a part of such a wonderful missions organization that is focused on reaching the entire world with the message of Jesus Christ all because one man followed the Lord. What kind of legacy are you leaving?
