I'd like to take this time to reflect on the past year before embarking on, what I believe, will be a fantastic year! 2010 wasn't bad, but I am so looking forward to what the Lord has planned for me in 2011. It's gonna be big.
Highlights of 2010:
Moved in with two of my very best childhood friends
Got stranded in the middle of the Charleston Harbor all night
Joined full-time staff with Campus Crusade for Christ
Became a runner
Ran my first half marathon
Watched the Lord provide 70% of my financial support
Met the most incredible people through raising my financial support
Helped St. Andrews Mt. Pleasant plant City Church at the Music Farm downtown
Joined an awesome small group through St. Andrew's City Church
Read through (most) of the Bible
Looking forward to in 2011:
Falling more deeply in love with Jesus every day
Watching the Lord provide the rest of my support
Being back on the college campus to spread the gospel
Going to Buenos Aires, Argentina in May
Going to Colorado for CCC Staff Conference in July
Participating in the Cooper River Bridge Run in April
Running in 2 half marathons (Spring and Fall)
Letting the Word of God transform my life
Learning to sew, knit, and play the guitar
Of course, there are so many other things I'm looking forward to, but you get the idea. Cannot WAIT to see all the Lord does in and through me in 2011!! Here is a quote from the dear Beth Moore, "If you're bored or boring, you are NOT in the will of God!" Our God is anything but boring. And if you allow Him to use you, your life will be one wild ride. Love it!
