Insanely blessed...

Wish I could push the rewind button and relive this past weekend. And then keep rewinding and playing it over and over again.

After living in Charleston for 3 years, my best friend Jordan finally came to visit me! It was very much needed too. I miss her SO SO much!! I try to visit Rock Hill as much as I can when I go to Charlotte to see my sister. It was so nice to have her here on my turf. She also brought her boyfriend Matt. They've been together for a year and this was the first time I met him. He's a nerd and goes to GA Tech. The good news is, he gets the best friend approval stamp.

After gorging ourselves with nachos from Taco Boy, we went to the Charleston Riverdogs baseball game. Heyward and Courtney, two of our best friends from college met us there. Courtney was in town for vacation with her family, and Heyward just got back from Kenya at midnight the night before. I need more of them in my life.
Absolutely LOVE these ladies!
We left early because it started to rain so they delayed the game. And let's be honest we really just went to see the fireworks (we later found out the rain stopped...bummer!). I have to say that the BEST part of the game was Tony the Peanut Man. He walked by us, stopped and just stared at Matt. Scratched his head and said
Tony: "Are you a Mormon?"
Matt: "No, sir."
Tony: Counting the us girls and scratching his head again, "Are you Muslim? Oh no, you're not dark enough to be Muslim."
Matt: Laughing with the rest of us.
Tony: "Oh, I know! You're a pimp! That's gotta be it!"
HAHAHA it was hilarious. Tony then sang us the peanut song. All in all it was a pretty great night.

We spent Saturday on the beach, until a thunderstorm rolled in. Sadly, we didn't get much of a tan or get to spend much time on the beach. I took them to The Wreck  for dinner that night for some delicious local seafood. Then we walked the Pitt Street Bridge (it very well could be my favorite place in Charleston, second to the beach of course).

Rachel, me, Jordan and Matt at The Wreck

"That's my bessssssst frieeeeeeeeeeend!"
Later that night we invited some more friends over for a game of Quelf.  If you've never played or heard of this game, shame on you! It's awesome. Always a good time. Here are a few pictures to highlight the night.
My snorkel I had to wear for the entire game.

Workin' the camera. "You're a bad kitty.'
Sunday we headed to the Music Farm downtown to St. Andrew's City Church. My church is the jam. I love it. Jordan said, "It's different." And she's totally right. Maybe that's why I love it. I mean really, who wouldn't want to go to church that has a disco ball?

The perfect ending to a perfect weekend was going out on the boat with these studs.
Will and my brother Stephen. Ladies, yes, they are single.

Well, there you have it. An absolutely incredible weekend.

insanely blessed,
